BLACK / WHITE
Lately, I’ve been inspired. Deeply so...by black and white imagery. It's been at the forefront of my mind and it seems to be popping up in my feed more and more often. Artistically, I’ve been curious about black and white photography for a while now. I’ve been wanting to dabble and explore and challenge myself. So I decided to take a few steps back and explore some of my past work. While some of these images have been shared before, a few were from the cutting room floor. It’s interesting to take a second look at these images and see what a black and white edit can do.
Not every image can be edited this way, but when it does work, it evokes something very unique. Emotion and depth come pouring out of the image. That’s what I’ve tried to do here, bring something new to the photos that maybe wasn’t as strongly present before. I’m hoping to challenge myself in more ways in the months to come, hopefully you enjoy the process as much as I do.
