YEAR IN REVIEW | 2014
Well, "year" is a loose term...we'll get to that later.
I've never really thought about doing this until this year. Probably because my voice wasn't found, my vision wasn't there, and I had nothing really to boast about. Things are different now. I feel like my soul is oozing when I'm taking photos. Even my daily 'grams are are a part of me. I'm actually conscientious and overly thoughtful about every single shot.
I have two people named Josh and Meg (www.loveisabigdeal.com) to thank for that. They awakened this passion within me and made me see who I want to be as an ARTIST. Not a photographer, an artist. Because what we do truly is an art, and it is often taken for granted or overlooked.
I'm proud to have jumped into the community of photographers this year, which I really used to avoid. Maybe it's because I wasn't meeting the right photographers.
I seriously cannot wait to see where 2015 takes me. I already have met some amazing couples and "the night is still young" so to speak. There is nothing more I want to do than tell love stories. Epic, emotional, unhinged romance. it wakes something up inside of me, I am really a romantic person, and a sappy one at that..and the feeling I get when I get to capture that, is unreal.
I kind of cheated with this post...because I really feel like the "year" term isn't enough...because my "year" started when I changed to Made to be Mine...in the fall of 2013. So I cheated and included that here, because it needs to be. This is such an overload of imagery, but #sorrynotsorry because you can never have too much of a good thing.
Just the beginning, folks. Cheers!
