ARIEL + SHAUN | ORCAS ISLAND ENGAGEMENT

Last October, we experienced the wedding of a lifetime.  From the beginning, Ariel + Shaun tugged at my heart. There was something so special about them.  Beyond their charming personalities, these two were getting married on a tiny island off the coast of Washington.  We were going to the Pacific Northwest for the first time, and we were going to shoot a wedding. It was a dream. In truly pinch-me fashion, we took a ferry to the island, and drove our little car to the most perfect cabin.  Once our bags were unloaded, we headed to meet Ariel + Shaun for their engagement/pre-wedding portraits. Frolicking and exploring in the woods, we fell in love with their spirits and their undeniable connection. Not to mention, we were in the freaking Shire.  Everything was gorgeous and untouched. We walked around the spot where they would wed the next day and danced at the foot of the waterfalls.  

To say we're grateful to them is an understatement.  This is just the beginning of their story, we will post their perfect + intimate wedding next week!
